yet no one is allowed to go to those Agents unless and until someone slowly makes their way to the long line of passengers and THEY decide that everyone would be better served by having some passengers move to the idle Immigration Agents. I have stood in line for Mexican Immigration at MEX where the line for arriving International passengers is 100+ passengers long and the line for returning Mexican Nationals is completely empty. Clearing Mexican Immigration is the real hold-up in MEX as the Immigration Agents are never in a hurry, and quite honestly (IMHO), not too friendly either.īy that I mean DO NOT approach them until motioned to do so DO NOT cross the line in front of their work station until told to do so DO NOT try to walk to another Immigration Agent station if your (assigned) Agent is taking too long processing the passenger in front of you and the next one over is doing nothing etc., etc., etc. I think if everything is on time you will find that your schedule is just about right.
